The printing process of color box packaging mainly includes three stages:

basic printing, surface finishing, and molding processing.

The following is a refined process list for mobile adaptation: 1 Basic printing (base printing) • Offset printing: the most commonly used, accurate color reproduction, suitable for large quantities.

• Concave printing: Thick ink layer, strong anti-counterfeiting, commonly used in tobacco and alcohol boxes.

• Flexographic: Environmentally friendly water-based ink, suitable for soft packaging of food and medicine.

Digital printing: No need for plate making, preferred for small batch customization.

2. Surface finishing (enhancing texture) • Film coating: Apply plastic film, split film (bright) and matte film (frosted) to prevent dirt and wear.

• Polishing: Applying UV oil, more environmentally friendly than laminating, with localized UV (highlighting logo) and full width UV.

• Gold/silver stamping: High temperature stamping of metal foil, instantly enhancing the grade.

• Convex/Concave: Stereoscopic embossing increases the sense of touch depth.

• Matte/Freezing Point: Special coating that feels like sandpaper or frosted glass. 3. Forming processing (shaping)

• Die cutting: Use a knife mold to cut cardboard into box shapes.

• Paste box: automatically glue the edges and corners to form a three-dimensional box. Tip for avoiding pitfalls: When designing, be sure to reserve a bleeding area (usually 3mm), otherwise white edges may be exposed during cutting.
